“I have not heard of any candidates. There were no propositions, therefore, there is nothing to discuss,” Grybauskaitė told journalists on Wednesday.
In the president’s words, the main requirements for the candidate include legal competences and an impeccable reputation.
The position of justice minister has been vacant since resignation of Milda Vainiutė on March 9.
Under the Constitution, ministers are proposed by the president after proposition by the prime minister.
