Lithuanian wireless fishing sonar wins innovation award at CES 2016

The small ball-like device can be cast out or submerged to detect fish underwater using sonar. It interfaces with the user’s smartphone to show them, in real time, where fish are hiding below them and how deep they are.

In an interview with Verslo Žinios, Aurelijus Liubinas, the Lithuanian tech company’s CEO, said “we are the only ones in the Baltics to have earned such an award. We stand alongside brands like Lenovo, Samsung, HP and others.” According to Liubinas, 96% of the company’s products are exported to other countries.
