Citizens can also register at the Lithuanian Embassy in Tel Aviv. According to information available to the ministry, there could be some 100 Lithuanian citizens in Israel now.
Among the airlines that suspended flights to Israel are Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, Austrian Airlines, Swiss Air and Germanwings. Budget airline WizzAir suspended flights until midnight of 23 July – the company’s next flight from Vilnius to Tel Aviv is scheduled for 24 July.
Lithuanian citizens who have tickets to Israel purchased from El Al company are reminded that the company will replace the tickets by 25 July.
