Lithuania’s foreign vice-minister stressed that the United Kingdom was Lithuania’s important partner and ally, both countries enjoyed sound political and economic relations, and Lithuania and the United Kingdom most often had same attitudes toward various EU stances.
Germanas stressed that Lithuania and the United Kingdom spoke up for a faster completion of the internal market, increasing of competitiveness, strengthening of the digital market and energy security. According to Germanas, the United Kingdom is an important and strong member of the European Union.
Lithuania’s foreign deputy minister also underlined the importance of cooperation for maintaining international peace and security, and thanked for a principled stance on Ukraine.
