“Today we have practically over ten nominations. I think that sometimes ministers could be provided with more than one nomination, as it still has to be coordinated with the minister and checks must be carried out; as a result, we have a choice and quite a sufficient one in this area,” said Graužinienė.
According to the leader of the Labour Party, among the leaders of the nominees is Martynas Nagevičius, president of the Renewable Energy Confederation; however, the party has not reached an agreement over his nomination.
Meanwhile, according to Graužinienė, there are three candidates to take the position of deputy minister of agriculture. On Wednesday, the Committee on Rural Affairs of the party will provide the Presidium with conclusions regarding these nominations.
