On Tuesday the minister welcomed a report on MH17 disaster published by a group of independent international investigators led by the Dutch Safety Board.
According to Linkevičius, although the investigation has not pinpointed the individuals responsible for downing the passenger airliner, there is plenty of factual evidence undisputedly revealing the course of the tragedy, its key circumstances and means that were used to commit the crime.
The minister highlighted the importance of liability and expressed strong conviction that the culprits would face justice, as demanded by the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2166.
