Tamašunienė was asked whether LLRA wishes for the deputy to stay. “Yes, we do, she has our support,” the chair of the LLRA political group replied.

Member of Parliament said she was unaware that Jaroslav Neverovič’s candidature for the energy minister’s position would be submitted only if Cytacka resigned.

“The prime minister has not yet informed us about this. We have also submitted Neverovič’s nomination because the energy minister’s position belongs to the LLRA,” said Tamašunienė in reference to the coalition agreement among the ruling parties.

“So far we are a part of the Coalition, everything remains the same – our positions, the number of deputies, the number of ministers,” the MP said.

All deputy ministers in the Lithuanian Government were ordered to resign after allegations were voiced against some of them.
