Lithuania’s telecommunications operators offer free calls and texts to Belgium

The Merged company is not charging for calls and SMS services from and to Belgium between 10 AM on Tuesday and 10 AM on Thursday.

Audrius Stasiulaitis, the company’s spokesman, told BNS that the decision was made after several explosions rocked the Belgian capital.

A string of explosions occurred in Brussels Airport and a central metro station on Tuesday, killing at least 26 people.
