Math exam made compulsory for Lithuanian school graduates

The minister told DELFI that the decision had been pondered on for a very long time, and the results show that more focus must be put on teaching sciences and mathematics in secondary schools.

“It has been coordinated for six months… Not everyone at the ministry 100-percent agree, but judging from the results of the math exam, it seems that more attention needs to be paid to logics and the whole science segment,” Pavalkis said.
