On Sunday afternoon, a column of American materiel departed from Vilnius Airport for Pabradė. In the morning, troops with armored vehicles and howitzers arrived in Lithuania from Germany.
A Lithuanian army representative said that the soldiers were choosing different means of arrival in the operation. “We’re moving from the airport, the column to departure for Pabradė has already been formed. 60 Pennsylvania National Guard soldiers and 4 Stryker armored vehicles have also arrived. Besides this arrival, one of the more important events was the arrival of the German 295th artillery battalion’s troops and materiel at Šeštokų railroad station in the morning. For the Iron Wolf exercise, soldiers will choose various means of transportation: railroads, airports, ports and roads,” the representative explained.
