A new shipment of LNG is arriving in Klaipėda by ship from the Norwegian Statoil group.
The Arctic Princess, an LNG tanker carrying about 140,000 m3, should arrive in Klaipėda this morning. This will be the 7th Statoil shipment this year. The last time such a shipment was made was in the beginning of April.
Litgas, Lietuvos Dujų Tiekimas and the Achema group’s fertilizer producers in Jonava purchase the gas delivered by Statoil, though information on how much gas each company buys has not been published.
Until the end of September, 12 gas tankers should visit the terminal, delivering more than a billion cubic metres of gas.
