
Under the program, Lithuanian citizens between ages of 18 and 30 will be able to go to New Zealand for a maximum of 12 months on vacation, also enjoying an opportunity to study or gain work experience. To sign the agreement soon, the countries still have to finalize the technical details, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry said.
Linkevičius, who is on his first official visit to New Zealand, expressed hope for broader economic cooperation with the country.
During the visit, the Lithuanian diplomacy chief met with members of the Employers and Manufacturers Association to familiarize them with the Lithuanian economic potential, investment opportunities, tax environment and the country’s economic sectors.
