The official distributor in Lithuania of tickets to Olympic events, the travel agency Novaturas, says it has only sold several dozen tickets.
Far more Lithuanians are travelling to Brazil to see the Olympics, but some of them bought tickets through sports organizations, some from travel agencies.
“Lithuanians are most interested in basketball, swimming competitions which feature Rūta Meilutytė and other athletics competitions,” said Novaturas marketing project manager Dovilė Zapkutė.
