The final lists of voters approved by the Central Electoral Commission on Monday include 2,504,267 voters, including 13,249 voters registered abroad.

Since the 2012 elections, the electorate shrank by about 75,000 voters, from 2,579,466.

The parliamentary elections include over 1,400 candidates, i.e., ten per the parliament’s 141 mandates. The competition was a bit steeper four years ago.

A total of 14 lists will be listed for multi-mandate voting. Twelve of the lists were proposed by parties, while the remaining two by coalitions, each consisting of two parties.

To win a parliamentary mandate, a party must collect at least 5 percent of the vote, while the threshold for coalitions is 7 percent.

The election will take place on Sunday, with early voting opening on Wednesday.
