PM wants influence probe material released without blacked-out sections

“The prime minister believes that the entire material of the investigation should be made available to the public, declassified, and he will make efforts for this to be done,” Skvernelis’ spokesman, Tomas Beržinskas, told BNS.

The media earlier this week released some declassified information from the State Security Department regarding MG Baltic‘s influence on political processes. Portions of the text are blacked out.

Vytautas Bakas, chairman of the Seimas Committee on National Security and Defense, which conducted the probe, says that the released information accounts for less than a third of the investigation material.
