Poll: 4 parties would qualify for Seimas seats

Four parties would enter the Seimas, Lithuanian parliament, if elections were held this week, according to a recent Vilmorus survey.

Kauno Diena reports that, based on the survey data, the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party has a sizeable lead in the polls, garnering support from 18.2% of the electorate.

They are followed by the Lithuanian Peasant and Greens Union, who would receive 12% of the vote, with the conservative Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats receiving 10.9% and the Labour Party, 8.8%.

The Order and Justice Party could receive 4.6% of the vote which would leave them below the 5% threshold required to claim Seimas seats.
