The presidency reports that in August, Grybauskaitė will travel to Riga to take part in the opening ceremony of NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence. During the visit, the leader of Lithuania will also meet with Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis.
In late September, the president will attend the UN General Assembly in New York. New York will also host an event organised by the Council of Women World Leaders and initiated by Grybauskaitė. The event will discuss problems faced by women of Eastern Europe. Grybauskaitė has been heading the Council of Women World Leaders since 2014.
In October, the president will have four visits abroad. She will go to Switzerland, Israel, Vatican and Belgium.
In November, Grybauskaitė will pay visits to Romania, Georgia, Malta, and France.
In late 2015, the president will attend an ordinary meeting of the European Council.
