“I am delighted that the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini selected Kęstutis Lančinskas as the head of the EU advisory mission in Ukraine,” said Linkevičius.
“Lančinskas is an excellent Lithuanian police professional who has also worked in the diplomatic service in 1992-1998. The fact that leadership of two EU Common Security and Defence Policy missions in the Eastern neighbourhood have been entrusted to Lithuanians is a great testament to the Lithuanian Foreign Affairs and Interior Affairs services.”
