Getnord Onyx body is made of aluminum alloy and is also designed to meet military industry standards MIL-STD-810G and IP68. It can survive 30 minutes submerged in water of up to two metres and is designed for the harsh conditions experienced by those working in heavy industry, construction, law enforcement and the military.
“Our products are focused on real consumers who need a tough phone, whose main characteristic is its strength, not beauty. We are not trying to create a trendy brand, because these phones for the hard-working professionals. Our phones somewhat heavier, stronger and have put a lot of metal, ” said Židonis.

While this and other Getnord branded phones are manufactured in China, Kaunas based company Redlainas CEO Albertas Židonis says that it is a purely Lithuanian product.
