The VMI is suspected of inconsistencies in its call for tenders for a €4-million deal to buy a smart solutions system. After looking into the call, the Public Procurement Office said it contained violations of law and obligated the VMI to call it off.
The Public Procurement Office said that the VMI failed to give convincing explanations for criteria it used to pick the offer.
