Vilnius looked a bit deserted on this Easter Sunday, the long weekend gave many an occasion to spend a couple of days elsewhere with family and friends. Yet, the churches were all filled to capacity with worshippers. Many of these faithful, particularly those with children, could be seen waiting outside the filled church.
Egg painting is one of the Lithuanian Easter traditions. Some families have elevated it to an art form. Some very colourful, other clearly painted with organic material.
