Top Lithuanian students to intern in China at Huawei

Ten of the most talented telecommunication technologies students in Lithuania have signed the first agreement with the organizers of the project Seeds for the Future to do a two-week internship in China marking the end of the program between Huawei and Lithuanian universities.

Ten students from Vilnius University (VU), Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) and Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) will travel to China on June 11 to start in internship in Huawei Research and development (R&D) and innovation centers.

“This group of young Lithuanian students going to China symbolizes the ever growing bilateral cooperation. Our government has made great efforts to establish closer bilateral economic, academic and cultural relations,” said Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius.
