US Congress delegation to visit Lithuania

The delegation will be led by US Congressman and Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee Mac Thornberry.

The delegation will meet with President Dalia Grybauskaitė, National Defence Minister Juozas Olekas. The Congress members will also go to Rukla where currently American troops are deployed.

The purpose of the visit is to express gratitude and confirm obligation to partners. US Congress members will come for a visit to Lithuania after similar visits to Romania, Ukraine, Latvia, and Poland.
