Vilnius mayor questioned in corruption investigation

Šimašius himself shared the information on Facebook on Friday.

The ongoing interrogation was confirmed to BNS by the service’s spokeswoman Renata Saulytė.

Šimašius is questioned in a political corruption investigation where the Liberal Movement’s former leader, Eligijus Masiulis, is suspected of bribery and influence peddling.
