Volkswagen launches diesel engine correction programme in Lithuania

Volkswagen said it had carried out an internal investigation and found that in Lithuania the problem affected 4,805 Volkswagen passenger vehicles, 1,692 commercial vehicles and 294 Audi vehicles.

It has emphasized that the problem only affects cars with EA189 model diesel engines.

A special website has been created where Volkswagen and Audi customers will be able to check whether their vehicles need diesel engine corrections. Those wishing to obtain detailed information, can visit the website recall.volkswagen.lt or recall.audi.lt.
