Warm weather leads to high risk of forest fires in Lithuania

Lithuania’s Ministry of Environment on Wednesday warned about increased fire hazard in forests across the country.

According to data provided by weather services, a class 3 fire hazard is expected in many forests, with class 4 fire hazard set for some regions in southern and eastern Lithuania – this means a high hazard of fires there.
