The wireless technology company LigoWave is planning to establish an office in Vilnius Tech Park. LigoWave will become the first hardware company in the Tech park and will have 63 employment positions as well as a workshop for new prototype testing.
LigoWave develops high-tech wireless products. The company’s products are used for wireless area coverage, for controlling traffic lights, highway safety, traffic management, voice and video services, M2M, 3G and 4G roaming data transmission in real time, smart network connection.
LigoWave’s products are sold in more than 100 countries around the world, the company‘s headquarters is located in Georgia, USA. LigoWave also has an Asian regional office in China, and the Regional Office for Europe will soon be opened in Vilnius Tech Park.
“In Lithuania we are programming, developing and testing new wireless product prototypes. Mass production is carried out in China and our products are sold all over the world. Our activities in Lithuania are very closely related to the research and testing of new products. Also, the unit in Lithuania executes marketing activities around the world, Vilnius Tech Park offers favourable infrastructure for creation and innovation which looks like an ideal place for our team‘s further growth,” the media report quoted LigoWave marketing vice president Jonas Sabaliauskas.
