“Although the current stage of the project is the most complex of all, yet the construction is carried out consistently and according to plan. This suggests that the most active stage, which will begin in 2015, will run smoothly as well and the project will be completed on time,” the minister said.
Electricity transmission-line between Alytus and Elk will be the first 400-kilovolt transmission-line in Lithuania. A quarter of 150 transmission-line towers have already been assembled and foundations have been laid for another 45.
