14 Syrian refugees arrive in Lithuania under EU program

“On April 24, four families (a total of 14 persons) were relocated to Lithuania from the Syrian Arab Republic,” reads the press release.

As of today, Lithuania has received 290 persons from Italy, Greece and Turkey under the EU program.

Nearly two years ago, Lithuania committed itself to receiving 1,105 refugees from countries, such as Syria, Iraq and Eritrea.
