SBA Home-affiliated furniture companies are streamlining management and expanding the responsibilities of their top executives. In line with this, changes in the management of some companies are also underway, according to the SBA press release.

“In order to increase operational efficiency, we have decided to streamline the management structure of furniture companies, and grant even more powers to executives. In addition to their normal production-related activities, company directors will now assume a number of functions in the area of business development. As we modify and optimise the existing management structure, we expect that these changes will further enhance the sense of ownership and our competitive advantage,” says SBA Vice President Egidijus Valentinavičius.

In line with the changes in the management structure and the matter of new responsibilities, the roles of some of the managers within the group are also changing. Viktoras Pivoris, Director of Klaipėdos Baldai, has been entrusted with the management of Šilutės Baldai. Eimuntas Jankauskas, the head of the latter company, will continue his work in the managing company SBA Home as the Head of Innovation and Technology.

“We want to ensure that the restructuring and the new responsibilities entrusted to our managers will allow for the successful development of the business in these challenging times. Viktoras represents an example as someone who has succeeded in efforts to promote growth and in leadership; he has already demonstrated competence and enthusiasm while overcoming challenges during his two years of leadership at Klaipėdos Baldai. We are grateful to Eimuntas, who has contributed significantly to Viktoras’ growth, for his continuous product and process development and creativity. We hope that he will show these qualities even more as the head of innovation and technology development,” said Raimonda Kižienė, Managing Director of SBA Home, which is to unite 4 SBA furniture manufacturing companies in line with the changes regarding the company leaders.

Changes are also planned in the SBA Industrial Innovation Valley and the logistics centre Innovo Logistika near Klaipėda. From now on, the company will not only be responsible for the products under the roof of its building but will also now assume central management of the warehouses at Klaipėdos Baldai, Inno Line, Šilutės Baldai and Visagino Linija. Tadas Dručkus, former planning manager of Klaipėdos Baldai, will become the director of Innovo Logistika, and will start managing the logistics of the products i.e., moving them to the central warehouse and providing them to customers in foreign markets. Artūras Sirtautas, former Director of Innovo Logistika, will continue his internal career at SBA Home as a logistics manager and will strive to optimise the combined warehouses’ processes.
