The three Baltic States have agreed that the VAT for the Rail Baltica construction works will remain in the country where the works are carried out.
The Minister Rimantas Sinkevicius said that the contract for the distribution of VAT had already been signed.
“We, the three Baltic countries have long argued on how the money should be used in each country and how that VAT should return to the state budget. So we have agreed on a scheme and all three ministers have signed it,” said the Transport and Communications Minister Rimantas Sinkevičius.
