“It’s important to maintain the progress achieved by Lithuania prior to the entry, it’s very important,” Mario Draghi said at a news conference on Thursday.
Sign of instability had been noticed in Lithuania’s economy in recent years, he noted.
“It’s also true that in the years before the entry, in the last four-five years, there have been signs of instability in prices and economic policies. In this sense, it’s very important that the progress achieved by Lithuania… is maintained,” Draghi said.
