The adviser told BNS on Wednesday she planned to “return to business”.
“I am very grateful to the president for the opportunity to work in her team. I have learned a lot and I think I could use this experience in other areas,” she said.
The Press Service of the President informed BNS that Kaminskaitė-Salters was leaving of her own free will. She will resign on August 1.
It is still unknown as to who will replace her.
Kaminskaitė-Salters joined the presidential team in September 2014, after previously working in the UK.
