The Lithuanian Poles‘ Electoral Action party headed by Valdemar Tomaševski is changing its name to Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Christian Families Alliance.
“This is good news for all voters who care about Christian and family values. We already had another christian party, but it has been done very little in this area – both in nurturing the christian spirit and family values,” said Tomaševski at a press conference yesterday.
Tomaševski said the party will be focussed on improving the welfare of families, through changes in the tax system that would allow for more benefits for families with children.
