16 speakers from Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Sweden will be speaking at the Forum this year. At the electricity session presentations will be made by Daivis Virbickas, CEO of “Litgrid”, Eglė Čiužaitė, CEO of “Lietuvos energijos gamyba” AB, Hand Sutter, CEO of “Eesti Energia” and Maciej Kowalski, Member of the Board of “Enefit” in Poland.
Changes in the gas market will be discussed by Saulius Bilys, CEO of “Amber Grid” AB, Tadas Matulionis, Director of LNG Department of “Klaipėdos nafta” AB, Ants Noot, CEO of Estonian AS “Eesti Gaas” and Jānis Eisaks, Head of Corpоrate Strategy division of Latvian “Conexus Baltic Grid” AS.
The topic of growing importance of renewable energy and its perspectives will be covered by Remigijus Lapinskas, President of World Bioenergy Association, Vytautas Stasiūnas, President of the Lithuanian District Heating Association and Tadas Navickas, CEO of 4energia UAB. The Head of Wind Power Unit of the Swedish Energy Agency, Lars Andersson, will share the Sweden experience in the renewable energy sector and talk about its expansion. Political and economic outlook as well as energy infrastructure financing issues are also included in the Forum’s program.
