Estonia’s exports and imports continued to decrease in May

The decrease in exports and imports was mostly influenced by a fall in the trade of electrical equipment and mechanical appliances.

The biggest share in Estonia’s exports or 19 percent was held by electrical equipment, followed by mineral products, agricultural products and food preparations, and wood and wood products, with 10 percent each.

A significant decrease occurred in the exports of electrical equipment which accounts for almost 20% of total experts and mineral products, down by respectively 46 million and 15 million euros.

The biggest decrease occurred in exports to Sweden, which were down by 38 million euros, due to decreased exports of electrical equipment.
