Former finance minister Šimonytė turns down offer to run for Vilnius mayor

She told BNS on Friday her decision was determined by personal reasons.

Following her decision, MP Mantas Adomėnas will now be the Homeland Union–Lithuanian Christian Democrats’ candidate in the forthcoming mayoral elections.
