The 39-year-old vice-minister will be responsible for regional development, administration of EU support funds, issuance of ID documents and migration, the Interior Ministry said.
He replaces Giedrius Surplys, who was last month appointed Lithuania’s agriculture minister.
Gražulis, who holds a master’s degree in European Studies from Vilnius University, has for the past three years worked as an assistance to MEP Bronis Ropė in Brussels.
