Industrial production volumes in the eurozone, the European Union and Lithuania decreased during the first month of spring compared to the previous month, according to Eurostat.
Industrial production in the EU contracted by 0.5% in March while in Lithuania it fell by 3.5%.
In March industrial production in the eurozone fell by 0.8%, while in February it shrank by 1.2%.
Across the European Union industrial production rose most in Croatia (5%), Latvia (4.3%) and the Czech Republic (1.4%) while the index fell most in Ireland (11.2%), Lithuania (3.5%) and Estonia (3.3%).
