Lithuania only Baltic state to see exports grow in Q1

Lithuania‘s exports grew by an annual rate of 1% to €5.2 billion in the first quarter of 2016.

Lithuania was the only Baltic country to post an increase in exports in the first quarter of 2016, according to Eurostat.

Latvia‘s exports fell by 5% to €2.4 billion euros and Estonia‘s exports were down by 2% to €2.8 billion.

Lithuania’s imports fell 3% in the first quarter to €5.6 billion. Latvia’s imports dropped by 5% to €2.9 billion and Estonia’s imports increased 1% to €3.2 billion.
