Lithuania Post releases special postal marking dedicated to president’s inauguration

The special cancellation marking features the portrait of President Dalia Grybauskaitė surrounded by inscription Inauguration of President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė Vilnius 2014 07 12.

The background of the cover features the Presidential Palace. At the bottom on the left side, the portrait of Her Excellency President Dalia Grybauskaitė and the emblem of President of the Republic of Lithuania on the right side can be seen.

The special envelope will be issued in the edition of 1,000 copies. The price of the cover is LTL 1.35 (EUR 0.40) without a stamp. The cover issued on the occasion of the president’s inauguration will be available at Vilnius and Kaunas Central Post Offices.
