The award is bestowed for active promotion of Lithuanian business relations with foreign countries, representation of Lithuania’s economic interests, expanding awareness about Lithuania’s businesses, encouraging bilateral business promotions, assistance in implementing business expansion projects abroad, searching for business partners and attracting new investment.
The ambassador was awarded during the annual convention of heads of Lithuanian diplomatic missions in foreign countries.
The Business Ambassador award was established six years ago.
