Lithuanian army supplies US partners with NATO-quality fuel

According to the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence, partners are satisfied with the Lithuanian fuel. US sergeant Dave Floyd, in charge of fuel supply, says the Lithuanian fuel is of high quality.

Produced since the start of NATO’s air policing mission in early 2004, JP-8 has so far been used by only NATO fighter jets in Šiauliai, and now the fuel is also supplied to the US troops in Rukla.

US contingents have been deployed in the Baltic states and Poland on a rotational basis as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve aimed at guaranteeing of collective defence.
