The prime minister said that a document from special services led him to draw this conclusion.

“I have talked to Mr. (Šiauliai Mayor Justinas) Sartauskas and asked him not to rush to make any further decisions. Today I received a document from law-enforcement institutions based on which, I think, the agreement will be cancelled,” he told reporters after the Cabinet’s meeting.

Butkevičius said that he could not give any details about the document or comment on whether the proposed investments posed a threat to national security.
