Lithuanian police conduct searches amidst investigation into anti-constitutional groups

According to media reports, searches were carried out in homes of open supporters of Russian policies, Milda Bartašiūnaitė and Giedrius Grabauskas.

Lithuania’s Criminal Code envisages between three to ten years in prison for those who “who formed organizations or armed groups with the aim of unlawfully altering the constitutional system of the State of Lithuania, making an attempt against its independence, infringing upon territorial integrity or who participated in the activities of such organisations or groups”.
