“It has been ten years already since we started observing the International Anti-Corruption Day. It calls for continuous fight against corruption. Corruption is a national and everyone’s personal enemy. There are no better ways against abuse than transparency and the public’s principled position, civil and political will,” the president was quoted as saying a statement issued by her press service.
Initiated and declared by the United Nations, The International Anti-Corruption Day has been observed annually on 9 December since 2004. It aims to draw attention to corruption and call on people to fight it.
