Manager of the Year received congratulations from Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė, politicians, businesspeople.
According to the president, the Manager of the Year awards, held for the fifteenth time this year, show that Lithuania’s business is creating its own traditions and keeps the leadership bar high.
During the award ceremony, President Grybauskaitė said that in 25 years of independence the state of Lithuania grew strong and mature. However, heads of Lithuanian companies today must not only focus on the usual business challenges but also take into consideration political risks and defend the state’s interests. Therefore, it is important for the country to have many courageous, determined and civic-minded managers.
Director of Ruptela UAB Andrius Rupšys won the first prize and was announced Manager of the Year 2015. Ruptela is a Lithuanian telecommunications company which develops modern transport management solutions. The company has representative offices in 5 countries, whereas its partners and clients are located in 116 countries worldwide. 75 percent of Ruptela’s production is exported.
