Lithuanians’ trust in e-government services growing

“The results of the study show that citizen’s trust in electronic services offered by the governmental agencies, as well as their quality, is growing. Up to 82 percent of the e-government gateway users evaluated the services positively,” said Tomas Karpavičius, the chancellor of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

In 2014, 15 percent of the country’s population used electronic declarations and applications, or 6 percent more than in the last quarter of 2013.

At the end of 2014, 32 percent of country’s population (45 percent of internet users) visited government websites. During the year, this indicator grew by 5 percent.
