“It is planned to purchase services for rebroadcasting of three Polish channels in southeastern Lithuania. Some 350,000 euros have been earmarked for this purpose for 2018,” Vytautė Šmaižytė, the transport minister’s spokeswoman, told BNS.
The ministry this week plans to publish the technical specifications for the public procurement, with the bidding procedure to be launched in late September and a contract with the winning bidder to be signed in late December, she said.
The broadcasting of the Polish channels in Lithuania will begin on Feb. 1, 2018.
