Nearly three-fourths of Lithuanians positive about euro

In May, as compared to last November, the ranks of supporters of the European economic and monetary union with the single currency in Lithuania increased by 10 percentage points to 73 percent.

The ranks of euro opponents decreased by 9 points to 22 percent, with the remaining 5 percent undecided.

Lithuania adopted the euro as its currency on January 1.
